Heart Disease - The Silent Killer

A National study revealed that approximately 30% of all Australian Adults have High Blood Pressure and almost 50% of all adults over 25 yrs have medically high Blood Cholesterol levels. Most adults believe that they have a reasonably healthy diet, unfortunately this is not always the case and some people are in the high risk group of forming Heart Disease, but do not even know it.

Another National Study also revealed that almost 1 in 2 people are now bordering on the Overweight Category. It is estimated that in the near future, 1 in 3 adults will be suffering from Cardiovascular Disease, more and more people are now classified as Being Overweight and many are now classified as being Obese.

This is a growing problem all over the world and is scary to think about how many adults are suffering from Cardiovascular Disease with an extremely high risk of having a Heart Attack, and do not even know it.

Over the last few decades the amount of people dying from Cardiovascular Disease has been reducing on a constant basis every year.

Most people would believe this to be a good thing, and it is, but when you consider that the amount of people who are now living with Heart Disease has increased dramatically, it changes how the results look. This shows that many people still have a high risk of having a Heart Attack and is increasing all the time, we have just got better at keeping people alive longer.

All of this tells us that we have not actually improved the health of the population, instead of having a healthier food source or healthier outlook for the community, we use drugs to treat the symptoms but not the cause.

The latest results from the National Death Rate Trends from Cardiovascular Disease, has stopped declining and new calculations are showing that over the next decade the amount of people dying from Heart Disease will increase dramatically and very quickly.

Heart Disease – Is It Too Late

This is due to the fact that we do not focus on how to prevent Cardiovascular Disease, we spend all our time and effort trying to reduce the symptoms because it is already too late, and more and more people will die from a Heart Attack in the near future. Heart Disease is one of the biggest killers of people all over the world and is no wonder when we ignore all the causes and fail to prevent them.

Heart Disease is called the “Silent Killer” for a reason and you really need to know why. A sudden and massive Heart Attack is not actually sudden at all, it is usually something that has been getting worse over many years without your knowledge.

A life of bad food supply, unhealthy diet intake, a lack of exercise, alcohol, high blood pressure and other factors can feed this horrible disease over many years. Statistics are now showing that this will be the first generation of parents where more of them will have to bury their offspring than ever before.

This is a very sad statistic which was unheard of 50 or 60 years ago. The worlds food supply is far from healthy and we seriously need to change our ways or kill ourselves slowly. Heart Disease or Cardiovascular Disease is now one of the biggest killers of us all, protect yourself and your family and do a little research and learn what you can do to prevent it. Don’t become a statistic and let it happen to you.
